Pizza di Roma is a good late night establishment to get some tasty greasy New York style pizza for a low price. Similar to Ian's, Pizza di Roma has a walk-up counter to where you can order a variety of large sliced pizzas. However, in this case, most of the pizza has normal pizza toppings.

If you are willing to dish out a few more bucks, you can also get some decent pasta at Pizza di Roma - without having to pay a tip to the waiter. The cream of the crop in the pasta department is their penne ala vodka, which I still swear is the best I have had in town even compared to fancy Italian establishments like Porta Bella (although now it is slightly less enticing these days after they removed bacon from the ingredients). The pasta always comes with some nice greasy cheese sticks.

Along with the cheap eats however comes the somewhat shabby interior with foam green plastic fast food tables, warped lunchroom trays, and seemingly perpetually dusty walls. You can tell this place has seen better years. However, if you can get past this fact like any normal college student who has eaten at one of the dining halls, Pizza di Roma serves some pretty darn good pizza.

Their spinach and feta pizza is basically crack for me. Greasy, cheesy, chock full of toppings and wonderful. Don't even bother getting a slice -- their pizzas are so cheap, just spend the extra to get a whole one and eat it all week.

Side note: This pizza may have been a significant contributing factor in my gaining 10 pounds my senior year at UW.
